Therapeutic Approach:

My therapeutic approach is client-centered which has helped me hold an empathic space for my clients to address unconscious conflicts, experience personal growth and development and develop a belief system that is based on empowerment and truth.  I truly believe that each person is capable of reaching their full potential if he/she works through the unaddressed internal conflicts and develops the appropriate skills to feel capable enough to manage life's challenges.

What Has Inspired Me To Become A Therapist:

Growing up in The Bronx I saw and felt the need so many around me had to have someone to help them, listen to them and hold space for them but not knowing where to turn. When I realized that there were professions that would allow me the ability to help others and make a difference in someone’s life I made the choice to pursue that career. And Here I am.

My Proudest Accomplishments as a Therapist:

Learning to be patient with clients and their process, meeting them where they are. Taking a therapeutic approach wrapped in patience allowed space for growth and breakthroughs that led the clients to find the courage to build upon their resiliency and perseverance, to face day to day challenges and experience long term change.

What I Now Know For Sure:

Change is the only thing that I am sure of will continuously happen even when we do not want it to.

Favorite Quote:

"So long as life remains, there is always hope... and so long as there is hope, there can be victory!"
