DSM-V Changes Lecture by Dr. Amanda Craig

Back again and again by popular demand, this presentation focuses on the most recent updates to the Diagnostic Statistical Manual. The DSM-5, published March 2013, contains organizational changes, more specific criteria, and the addition and removal of certain diagnoses. Key changes include the removal of the axes, diagnostic name changes, new categories, and new diagnoses. The presentation will describe all the major changes to DSM, as well as ICD-10 codes, followed by a question and answer period.

Professional Development Trainings and Networking at the Metro Chapter of NYAMFT

Metro has monthly 90-minute training sessions followed by Board meetings that are open to the public.  Most often the meetings on the third Friday of each month 8:30 - 10:30. Trainings range from issues of addiction, couples-focused therapy, infidelity, DSM changes and more.  This is a great opportunity to network, connect with your peers, and find ways to get involved.
